CAMS offers one of the most advanced computing facilities in the Middle East, available to researchers at AUB and in the region.

The CAMS network consists of Intel workstations running the Linux Operating System. Every office is equipped with a desktop computer that can be accessed by faculty and associates.

The Center also hosts Alpha, Intel, and IBM clusters offering a High-Performance Computing platform. CAMS visitors and associates are eligible for an account on the clusters.

The computing facilities at CAMS are used for many academic purposes:

• Extensive calculations in Stellar Dynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Computational Chemistry, and Image Processing
• Teaching High-Performance Computing
