· What’s the easiest approach
to scan a document?
à Place the document on the
scanner bed, and press the button on the front side of the scanner. That will
automatically scan your document as well as launch the Photoshop Elements
program.
· I’ve scanned my image, how
do I edit it?
à Use the available tools in
Photoshop Elements to edit, cut, and crop your scanned image. For more on that
go to the Help Contents in Photoshop Elements.
· The file size of my saved
image is too big!
à Save your image as a JPEG
or GIF for high compression ratios.
· Photoshop Elements is fine,
any other good products to use?
à Select the Epson Smart
Panel on the desktop to get a variety of scanning applications you can choose
from, including Scan to email, Scan to OCR, Scan to Web, Copy, Scan to
Application.
· What’s OCR?
à OCR stands for Optical
Character Recognition, use this option to scan text straight into a word
processor!
