SCOPE OF THE MEETING

The meeting will begin by a 2-days workshop course on Parallel Programming Algorithms (Jan. 4th and 5th), followed by a 2-days conference on state of the art tools and applications in Grid and Parallel Computing (Jan. 6th and 7th). The workshop course is open to graduate students and faculty members. Financial support shall be granted for candidates from the SARIMA consortium.

Planning is being made for invited speakers and short contributions. Refereed papers from the conference will be published in a special issue of "Future Generation Computer Systems".

 

OBJECTIVE

Promoting the development of parallel computing from an academic and industrial perspective through a broad spectrum of hardware and software related themes in algorithms and applications of grid and parallel computing.
